    For The Love of Macarons


    The Kippure originated as a final year project by  journalism students in DIT and is now a well known showcase for up and coming journalists.

    One of Ireland’s newest talents Sascha O’Toole has written a great article on The Cake Stand‘s macarons and all things Valentines related.

    Blas na hÉireann National Irish Food Awards 2010


    The Cake Stand is delighted to have returned from this years Blas na hÉireann National Irish Food Awards, held as part of the 4th annual Dingle Food & Wine Festival, with two awards:

    • Silver in the Confectionery category, for Iseult’s delicious macarons
    • Best Artisan Producer Award 2010, sponsored by an Bord Bia
